YORKY
Jason York was born in Ottawa, Ontario and grew up in Nepean, where he played minor
hockey for the Nepean Raiders and then on to the Smiths Falls Bears of the CJHL. Jason
played four years in the OHL before moving on to playing over 1000 professional hockey
league games including five exciting years with the Ottawa Senators.
Jason now resides back in his hometown of Ottawa with his family and is involved in various community activities including the Jason York Charity Golf Classic. He can currently be found moonlighting on the TEAM 1200 radio station or running around from rink to rink with his
three hockey playing children while still finding time getting a few hot topics for "The PIne".
